cousins, let's go to sentosa!
Hi! It's 7:54 am and I'm going to write an informal letter as today's daily English practice (*^▽^*)

Dear aunt and uncle,
I hope my letter finds you in good health. Having heard that you are coming to Singapore from New Zealand for the holidays, I am simply thrilled to suggest some places you should visit.
Since you're going to be staying at a hotel in Sentosa, you might as well stop by Underwater World while you're there. I am sure that the little ones would love looking at the diverse selection of sea creatures, ranging from friendly dolphines to elegant manta rays. Plus, there's even a spot where you can touch real starfishes! I believe that your children would love having this sort of hands-on experience with wildlife.
On the other hand, I'm sure that you've heard of the exquisite beaches at Sentosa. After all, they are famed for their pristineness. There are three lovely beaches for your family to decide upon: Palawan, Siloso and Tanjong Beach. No matter which beach you choose, you are guaranteed to have a fun time swimming, building sandcastles or playing beach volleyball.
The last destination I'd like to recommend is Jurong Bird Park. This little paradise is one of the most famous bird sanctuaries in the world, home to over 400 species of 5000 birds. Your family can fully immerse yourselves with our feathered friends by watching stunning events like the Wings of Time and sitting in on exciting bird shows. Additionally, there is a bird nursery where your family can see how baby birds are taken care of. I'm sure such that witnessing heartwarming moments can bring the whole family together.
Due to the sheer abundance of attractions in Singapore, it can become overwhelming trying to visit them all. That is why you should plan an itinerary so that your family can truly enjoy your time here. Personally, I recommend that you go to Jurong Bird Park in the morning. This is not only to beat the afternoon crowds of tourists, but also to keep your children awake with the most exciting destination first. Next, you should move to Underwater World after lunch, thereby allowing your family to languidly stroll through the mesmerizing displays of marine life. Afterwards, the family should play on the beach until dinnertime, allowing you to watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the evening breeze.
Before you embark on this adventure, I'd like to point out some tips for enjoying Singapore's sunny weather. As for apparel, you should pack thin T-shirts, short pants and slippers. That is, if you want to fit in with Singaporean dresscode. If not, anything that isn't too thick will do. Next, you should bring a sufficient supply of sunscreen for you and your children as the sun can be pretty harsh here. Lastly, always carry a water bottle around! Suffering from dehydration or a heat stroke is a major risk in our hot, humid climate.
I can't wait to see you and your children in Singapore! I'll be waiting at the hotel lobby when you arrive to show you around. I hope that we'll have a pleasant time together.
Yours faithfully,
Samantha Teo
