the social pyschology series
Why do people do the things they do? Especially in the world of politics, this question rings repetitively in my head. Why is the Prime Minister flying all over the world and giving speeches? Why do we need to celebrate National Day every year? Like, genuinely.
In this series, I explore all of these questions and more through the Social Studies syllabus (O Levels, 2025). I find that this is a more effective way to study Social Studies than memorising notes and doing mountains of practice papers. Those methods are still important, but I aim to get a more comprehensive view of the immensely complex field that is Social Studies. And this is my attempt at doing so.
Keep a lookout for the social pyschology label!
